88-Day Visa extension - Disaster Recovery Volunteer
Join us in Apple Tree Creek (4660) for a volunteer opportunity supporting local flood and bushfire recovery and property restoration.
In exchange for up to 20 hours of volunteer work per week, we provide free private accommodation in your own hut, with access to a shared kitchen, bathroom and outdoor areas.
Tasks include light B&B housekeeping (one guest room), with payment from this work helping cover your meals, as well as gardening, painting, property maintenance, clearing storm debris and assisting with daily animal care.
You’ll also have plenty of free time to explore the area or look for seasonal, farm or fruit-picking work around Childers and Bundaberg.
Volunteer days will be recorded on the relevant Bushfire and Natural Disaster Recovery form for Working Holiday visa extension applications, where applicable.
No public transport is available, so having your own car is strongly recommended.
